To me nothing beats the Hamptons. I would rather be here any day versus California, Mexico, or any beach for that matter. To me- THIS IS IT, let me share the love from last weekend with you :)

First of all I would like to point out the Hamtpons is not as shi shi- but it is- but it is more beach shi shi, well say. That is pretty unattainable unless you know what your doing/overpaying …. so its shi shi. But it’s not. Get it?

Well just say the FAB hotel my mom and I reserved.. was closed? When we arrived, Barbara Lee and I were escorted to another- which was nice (not as nice as the original) and still awaiting the pool to be filled with water for the summer… (It is the end of may). Regardless it was phenomenal weather and nothing to complain about. We lunched it up at Oakland’s Marina- Gorgeous. and beached it up across the way. Barbara Lee and I found the most MASSIVE shell collection in size and numbers in a mere 10 minutes tops.

New York Magazine got all “the selby” like on us and photographed a bunch of hollywood-all up in their new york homes.

I am loving Paul Feig’s (Director) New York City condo, which he describes as accidently “part British, part seventies bordello.”

THATleopard rug is a [should have that under my feet right now] kinda rug- still investigating how to obtain it from London, as it is not sold in online store- Halcyon Days.

THOSE photographs of Paul’s scholarly Scottish Terrier, Linus, are just too much-LOVE. Mental note: must own a scottish terrier ASAP.

I CAN’T WAIT for JULY 4th.

My favorite holiday. The ultimate summer weekend. The most fabulous Aspen parade. The biggest & baddest Hamptons party. Wherever you are-make it amazing… And I don’t care what you may judge but at least there is a good excuse for me to rock my favorite theme: The American flag. 

Here is an explosion that has nothing to do with the fireworks but all about a DIY inspiring outfit of perfection for the most optimal summer weekend. Also lots about my new girlfriend (LDR) and her equal obsession for America. (Thank you RKD for introducing me to my new love)

Party ingredients:  white-wash denim jackets, mirrored aviators, juicy red lipstick, blue bikini’s, cut-off’s, gold facepaint, flower crown, crimson nailpolish, yachting captain hat, vodka, heart sunglasses, leather headbands, fresh white T-s, silver studs, star & stripe bandana’s, french braids and American flags.

I first adapted the beyond gorgeousness of Prabal Gurung S/S 2012 on pillows in my CPW project last year but now something magical and unexpected has happened.

Prabal Gurung x Sally Hansen. WHAT!?!? yes, YES? Sally has got her paws on Prabal’s patterns and she’s putting them on her Salon Effects Nail Sticker line. YES.

What did we do to deserve this? $9.99 and I can finally touch everything with Prabal all day long, my Prabal mani will go with me everywhere. This is a dream.
